- Biff Jones is a driver/salesman for the Good Humor ice-cream company. He hopes to marry his girl Margie, who works as a secretary for Stuart Nagel, an insurance investigator. Margie won't marry Biff, though, because she is the sole support of her kid brother, Johnny. Biff gets involved with Bonnie, a young woman he tries to rescue from gangsters. - 剧的影视化呈现是不错的，镜头语言也用心，光影校色不错，在徽派建筑实景拍摄的古色古香感真是多年未曾有了。服饰尽管还是有穿戴场合错误面料错误时代混搭之类的问题，总归有进步。一身相对正确的冠服穿上身，大叔们都变儒雅帅气了，表演也都相当不错。
