- 日茂行是全名為郊商日茂行，是彰化縣鹿港鎮一府二鹿三艋舺的歷史遺址，由於政府執行執行都市計劃，計畫拆除日茂行，引起一群「鹿港發展苦力群」的地方知識青年向鎮公所抗議。而省文化處委託一位知名的社區營造專家，舉辦「歷史之心裝置藝術大展」，邀來十位裝置藝術家從事前衛藝術視覺創作。這個大膽實驗，一開始得到苦力群成員的支持，但是後來卻不段爆發各種衝突，《搶救日茂行》開始紀錄下這個價值觀衝撞的過程。...
