- 第一集时，由于不清楚时间线，一度以为张东升就是长大后的朱朝阳。但相信所有看过这片的人，都会得出一个朱朝阳长大后就变成张东升的结论。这是不是伏笔的伏笔，大演员小演员老演员都用自己的精彩表演圆了人物性格。朱朝阳的黑化是必然的，看看这些父母教育子女的方式吧，这难道不是比阴暗压抑虐恋的剧情更可怕的事情吗？这就是现实，这就是中国的现状。别忘了有一首歌唱到的：你会被教育成一个坏人，吃喝拉撒见死不救的动物。而野蛮生长的坏小孩严良，却恪守住人性底线，立志要成为一名警察，这是多么令人讽刺的事情啊。最后，我个人是无法再听那首小白船了，那旋律真他妈的让人毛骨悚然！
- 剧本改编有很大问题，可能限于审查，无法让未成年人主动犯罪，也就完全失去了原作中几个孩子早熟、冷酷、决绝又不失童真的复杂性，而原作对家庭关系的描述又被剧本添加了许多不必要的鸡汤线。两下反向用力，直至原作中令人窒息的张力、暗无天日的悲情大打折扣，演员再好也无力挽。
