- 与早年看的香港版的爱情风趣路线不同，内地走的仍是一派严肃的正剧路线，何冰里面演得很出色，剧情节奏方面把握得都很好，结局有首尾呼应的意思，让人感到强烈的宿命感
- 奇情奇案合集，几个主要演员和一些老戏骨发挥出色，特别是郭达斯坦森的刁光斗。但整部剧更像是法制剧，而且全是戏剧巧合，不过最后宋慈去职的无力感和刁光斗的官场本质还是发人深省回味无穷
