- 爺爺的結局為整部劇的結尾提供了升華。雖然男主角顧長山是故事的焦點，但實際上，整個林區才是真正代表著「父輩的榮耀」。顧長山只是這個冰山一角，而他的師父，也就是孩子們的爺爺，才是整個故事中「父輩」的代表。他的人生在這片林區找到了終點，化身為樹神，永遠守護著這片陪伴他生長的樹林。
- 大失所望，完全没拍出原著鬼魅奇异又十分吊人胃口的感觉，如果没看过原著，剧真心没有吸引力，倪妮演技也是套路化。
