- 其实谈不上看过。中学时正忙着学习，天天晚自习，零零散散瞄过罢了。 但是第一，这部剧很正，纯正，有历史文献依据；二，不像狄仁杰王芳那般故作神秘，这剧有科学性，有古代医学依据；三，作为古代法律、司法剧，难得，倡导传统的法律正义和宋代制度；四，演员多老面孔；五，结尾一首满江红，堪称绝唱
- 本剧宋慈虽然也要被塑造为正面人物，也落俗套的加了女知己竹英姑在边，但比之它剧显得不太生硬虚假；啰嗦之处也有，但也不算太多，加之现在网络时代，快进快进也不成太大缺点；本剧最精彩之处恐怕还是那官场现形记，无能谄媚的吴淼水、阴险狡诈的刁光斗、表里不一的袁捷等等各有特点；曲终奏雅，种种弊政，终是官家不作为，区区一人难以回天
