- 同名小说改编的六集网剧，导演在运用视听手段再现时代、生活场景上具有执着地努力与才华，宛似在屏幕上画了一幅六个小时的八九十年代“下岗潮”席卷下的东北城镇的“清明上河图”；质感、氛围、细节充沛，长镜头、移动摄影、素人演员等均显示了光彩。只是剧情电影或剧集不同于绘画艺术，它是门综合艺术，导演手中的剧作、表演、视听、组接等手段缺一不可。而剧作上的情节结构、人物塑造在剧情片中不可或缺，也可以说更为重要。编导对原作提供的故事及人物不仅没有继承发展好，还特意抹淡到了讲不清楚的地步，许多修改和删节也过于随意，致使剧集叙事薄弱，主题丧失。原小说里的摩西救赎内容被去掉了，英文剧名干脆改为“为什么试图现在改变我？”，这也无助于立意的阐释。总之，综合艺术不可“瘸腿行走”，是一个值得研究与注意的话题。...
