- 四大名著中最好的改编，思想性而言，远远超过原著。最后一集几乎无情节推进，全在写景抒情，但不觉得冗长，因为前面的积攒的悲剧气场太强大了，这是一种奢侈的玩法。
- 当时的顶级人马之作，我小时候不懂。一开篇就改得好，省去了神话迷信，直接从高殿前说起，把清明上河图卷展开，连彩楼欢门都表现了，但是当时的考古水平不行。
