- 斯琴高娃老师演得太棒了，从少妇演到老年，我全剧就看二奶奶来着，见证了这个家族的起起伏伏。剧本也是非常扎实，听说是磨了十几年的剧本，中间发生过很多波折才得以现世。
- 前四分之三拍的就极好，游刃有余，前有斯琴高娃的白文氏，后有陈宝国的白景琦，兴衰沉浮，飙得痛快。后面就越拍越赶，以至于收了个不大成话的尾巴。另外说：赵季平的配乐是既大气又地气，但几段下来翻来覆去地用，好像也不是个事。
