- In the spring of 2004, Maria, a Greek Cypriot, and Zehra, a Turkish Cypriot, cross to opposite sides of the green line dividing Cyprus since the war of 1974 to visit the family homes they had not seen for thirty years. Thus begins the personal journey of these women as the film follows them through their pasts, haunted by war and pain, to their present search for reconciliation......

- 张导其实完全可以做演员不必执着于做导演，家长里短狗血剧其实很容易收割广大观众，但是看了几集实在糟心，前期小演员们还都蛮灵的，后期是在为了狗血而崩人设吗？而且正午固定的几个配角实在让人视觉疲劳。担主的几个也没什么观众缘，看起来就会焦虑，还不如看亲爱的爸妈。...

- 看到27集看不下去了，鸡毛狗碎的，麻烦事像影子一样甩也甩不开，就没松一口气。
- 同样是年代剧，对比一下由由余华《活着》改编的《福贵》，从新中国前讲到改革开放后，一家人随着历史大流，经历着社会变迁，生活各种磨难，悲欢离合，生离死别，但没那么多狗血的剧情。这部剧一分给白宇，演技不错。
