- As an faithful adaptation of Kruczkowski's work, this movie works fine. Most of the time it succeeds in avoiding the static, theatrical feeling of the play. Ford was acknowledged master of the spectacle, and it shows here. Some of the scenes are impressive. - 原以为《琅琊榜》是近些年来古装宫廷争斗戏里的清流，此剧一出，无与争锋。可没想到一部十年前就该街知巷闻的《大明王朝1566》才是真正的历史神剧。该剧无论从剧本、角色、演员，还是台词、场景、服装、配乐上都完胜《琅琊榜》。《琅琊榜》里的权谋放在《大明王朝》里完全成了小儿科。
