- 废死只是一个切入社会议题的视角，结局破坏了一些东西。也不提供心灵抚慰，甚而可能让观众觉得不舒服。没有我们想象的正义战胜邪恶，甚至到最后连“真相”也失去了。坏人没有得到恶报，好人继续受苦，底层弱势的人做好人又是多么艰难，油腻的人高高在上。但它也没有放弃守护一些东西，最朴素最柔软的一些东西，是最容易被牺牲的对象，但也是最值得珍惜与呵护的。
- 海上就是法外之地。原住民、印尼劳工、黑工、废死、司法公正、非法捕捞。最后一集挺妙的，那句台词“不死，也不能阻止继续杀人，如果一定要死，就要死在最适合的时刻” 说尽了。很多台词都很好。还要那句“我们都想做渔夫，可以捞到最贵的鱼，可根据经验，我们都只是那个用完即弃的鱼饵”。你怎么选。
